All Furvana attendees must purchase an event membership to enter the convention center space. The memberships you purchase are Furvana's primary means of financial support; they enable us to host this event and deliver more value to our attendees!

Membership levels

Furvana offers the following membership levels to attend our event:
Conbook
All membership levels receive a digital conbook.
Attending Members can purchase a print copy for $1; Patrons and Sponsors receive a complimentary print copy.
Admission

Allows access to all areas of the convention for all days of the event.
Shirt

Year-specific convention T-shirt.
Exclusive badge

Badge with exclusive artwork.
Dealers' Den early access

Early access to the Dealers' Den for 15 minutes before opening to general admission.
Priority theatre seating

Priority seating for all major events presented in the theatre, such as opening and closing ceremonies.
Conbook credit

Your name in the conbook credits as a special thank you! (Must preregister to receive this benefit.)
Guest of Honor Dinner

Admission to the Guest of Honor dinner. (Must preregister to receive this benefit.)
Patron gift

A special Furvana-themed gift! (Guaranteed if you pre-register; while supplies last at-the-door.)

General Terms

By purchasing a membership and attending Furvana, you agree to abide by the Attendee Code of Conduct at all times during the convention, including on the convention center grounds, convention hotels, and beachfront or other outdoor activities. Please read and be sure you thoroughly understand the Attendee Code of Conduct. If you have any questions about our Code of Conduct or Furvana policies, please reach out to registration@furvana.org .

ID and Name Policy

A government-issued photo ID is required in order to attend the convention. When picking up your badge at the convention, your first and last name that you use to register must exactly match the first and last name on your government-issued photo ID. Furvana will not issue you a membership badge if we cannot verify your identity with a government-issued photo ID. Non-US government IDs are accepted. Student IDs, library cards, SCP foundation memberships, or other non-government issued IDs are not accepted.

If you have legally changed your name since registering or use a preferred name that is different from the name on your government-issued photo ID, please contact registration@furvana.org and we will be happy to work with you to process your registration using your changed or preferred name.

Conbooks

The Furvana Conbook will be distributed in digital format. If you purchase an Attending membership, you can purchase a print copy of the conbook for only $1 more. Patrons, Sponsors, VIPs, and Dealers will receive a print copy of the conbook free of charge. Print copies of the conbook can only be guaranteed for those who pre-register; if you register at the door then print copies will only be available while supplies last. You'll still get your digital copy, don’t worry!

If you choose not to opt-in to a print copy, we thank you for your eco-friendly choice and for helping Furvana save costs that we can re-invest in more ways to make the convention awesome!

Minor Policy

Minors under the age of 16 must be physically accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or an adult designated as responsible for them by their parent or guardian at all times. For minors from age of 16 to 17, there must be a responsible adult on site and available to be contacted at all times. All minors under the age of 17 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver in order to attend.

Upgrading Your Membership

If you have already purchased a membership and would like to upgrade to a higher tier of membership, you may do so at any time.

The cost is equal to the current price of the upgraded membership minus the amount you have already paid for your existing membership.

Your upgraded membership includes all the perks of that membership tier, although please be aware that some perks are only available when pre-registering and may not be able to be fulfilled if you upgrade your membership at the door.

Refunds and Rollovers

Furvana does not issue refunds or rollovers for memberships or retail purchases. Exceptions may be made in cases of hardship, to be determined and approved by the convention chairs.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you may request a refund for Furvana 2020 if you registered for 2020 and are unable to attend Furvana 2021. To request a refund for Furvana 2020, log in to your account, select "Order History", then select "Request Refund" from the menu in the top right corner of the membership level.
