By purchasing a membership and attending Furvana, you agree to abide by the Attendee Code of Conduct at all times during the convention, including both the convention center grounds and convention hotels. Please read and be sure you thoroughly understand the Attendee Code of Conduct. If you have any questions about our Code of Conduct or Furvana policies, please reach out to registration@furvana.org.

A government-issued photo ID is required in order to attend the convention. When picking up your badge at the convention, your first and last name that you use to register must exactly match the first and last name on your government-issued photo ID. Furvana will not issue you a membership badge if we cannot verify your identity with a government-issued photo ID. Non-US government IDs are accepted. Student IDs, library cards, SCP foundation memberships, or other non-government issued IDs are not accepted.

If you have legally changed your name since registering or use a preferred name that is different from the name on your government-issued photo ID, please contact registration@furvana.org and we will be happy to work with you to process your registration using your preferred name.

Conbooks

The Furvana Conbook will be distributed in digital format. If you purchase an Attending membership, you can purchase a print copy of the conbook for $1 by adding it to your cart during the registration process. Patrons and Sponsors will receive a print copy of the conbook free of charge. Print copies of the conbook can only be guaranteed for those who pre-register; if you register at the door, physical conbooks will only be available while supplies last. You'll still get your digital copy, don't worry!

If you choose not to opt-in to a physical conbook, we thank you for your eco-friendly choice and for helping Furvana save costs that we can re-invest in more ways to make the convention awesome!

Minor Policy

Minors under the age of 16 must be physically accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or an adult designated as responsible for them by their parent or guardian at all times. For minors aged 16 or 17, there must be a responsible adult on site and available to be contacted at all times. All minors under the age of 17 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver in order to attend.

Upgrading Your Membership

If you have already purchased a membership and would like to upgrade to a higher tier of membership, you may do so at any time.

The cost is equal to the current price of the upgraded membership minus the amount you have already paid for your existing membership.

Your upgraded membership includes all the perks of that membership tier, although please be aware that some perks are only available when pre-registering and may not be able to be fulfilled if you upgrade your membership at the door.

Media Policy

The Furvana convention is a private event and does not allow any media coverage at the event without prior approval from the owners of Furvana LLP. Attendees purchasing a membership agree not to act as media agents in any way, shape, or form while attending our event. Making photographic, audio, or video recordings of any convention event for investigative or commercial purposes is not permitted without approval from Furvana LLP.

By attending Furvana, you are authorizing Furvana staff members to take your photo or likeness for use in promotional materials only. If you would like to opt out of this, please simply inform the staff you observe taking your picture and your privacy will be respected.

Attendees in public space may take photographs or video for personal purposes. However, if any attendee requests that their photo not be taken or published, the photographer is expected not to violate such requests.

Photography or videography of any kind is not permitted in the convention headless lounge area.

If you are a member of the media and would like to cover our event, please contact furvanaLLP@furvana.org and we would be happy to discuss the opportunity. Please provide information about your organization and the nature of the reporting you would like to do. Furvana attendees will be notified prior to September 1st 2019 of any media organizations that have been permitted to attend Furvana. No consideration will be given to media coverage requests made after August 31st, 2019.

No media organizations have been permitted to attend at this time.

If you are an attendee and you would like to opt out of the use of your likeness by any of the above listed media organizations, please contact furvanaLLP@furvana.org and we would be happy to help you out. Your privacy is very important to us.

Other Membership Types

The following additional membership types are also available:

• Child

  For attendees under 14 years of age only. A child membership includes all the benefits of an attending membership. This membership must be linked to an adult attendee's membership. The adult to whom the adult membership is issued must attend the convention and accompany the bearer of this membership at all times.

• Friday membership

  Allows access to all areas of the convention for Friday, September 27, 2019 only. Includes access to the digital conbook.

• Saturday membership

  Allows access to all areas of the convention for Saturday, September 28, 2019 only. Includes access to the digital conbook.

• Sunday membership

  Allows access to all areas of the convention for Sunday, September 29, 2019 only. Includes access to the digital conbook.

• Supporting contribution

  Just access to the digital conbook. Does not grant admission to the event, but your support is greatly appreciated!

• VIP Membership Package

  The premium convention experience for the most discerning members of our fine community. In addition to the benefits from the Patron membership level, you receive the following:

  • Hotel room included: Stay in a reserved room at the Shilo Inn, our main hotel, from September 26 through September 30.
  • Skip the line: Pick up your badge and swag at the hotel front desk.
  • VIP social: A private gathering with fellow VIP members and special guests.
  • Seat reservation: Early access for 15 minutes before any major event in the main theatre to reserve up to two seats.
  • Exclusive "blinky" badge: You'll see…
  • Concierge: Access to a private Telegram channel for VIPs. If there's something unique you'd like to do or have happen, this is where to ask!

• VIP Lite

  Includes all benefits of the VIP Membership Package except for the hotel room.

Refunds and Rollovers

Furvana does not issue refunds or rollovers for memberships or retail purchases. Exceptions may be made in cases of hardship, to be determined and approved by the convention chairs.
