Dealer Information
Content Rules
All dealers must agree to abide by these rules:
- You may not sell or perform any transactions outside of the Dealers Den or Premium Booths, with the exception of registered sellers in the Artists' Alley.
- To be a dealer, you must sign up in advance. We will not be able to accommodate walk-ins.
- Dealers must be at least 18 years old.
- Dealers are required to purchase a convention membership in addition to their dealer table space. The dealer table does not include membership.
- Please do not use speakers playing music or other audio. If you would like to listen to music or your merchandise contains an audio component, please provide headphones so as not to disturb your fellow dealers.
- To sell in the Dealers Den, you must have a Washington State Tax ID. Tax IDs will be verified by Dealers Den staff one month before the convention. If you do not have a valid Tax ID at this time you may risk forfeiting your Dealers Den space. You can easily sign up for a temporary Tax ID for free by following this link: Temporary businesses | Washington Department of Revenue

Any artwork considered above a PG-13 rating must be in closed portfolios and exposed genitalia censored appropriately. Dealers are responsible for verifying attendees are at least 18 years of age before they may be permitted to view adult materials. All artwork on display or on sale must be PG-13 or lower. This rule is taken seriously, and non-compliance may risk forfeiture of your Dealers Den table. In the state of Washington, artwork is not considered PG-13 if:
- It contains exposed genitalia or representations of genitalia.
- It depicts a sexual act.
- It depicts realistic violence where the victim is shown to be seriously injured.
- It depicts any other content that, according to State law, makes it unsuitable for younger viewers.
-
The following may never be sold at Furvana at any time:
- Personal services, including but not limited to: tattooing, body piercings, massage, etc.
- Unlicensed or bootleg merchandise, excluding content covered under the Fair Use Act.
- Food, beverages, alcohol, tobacco, drugs or medication.
- Open flames on items such as candles or incense sticks. It's fine to sell these items, but they cannot be lit.
- Items where the possession of, sale of, or crossing of state boundaries constitutes a criminal act.
Tax ID Requirements
All dealers are required to present their Washington State Tax ID or Temporary Tax ID to the Dealers Den lead before September 1. It must be active for the dates of the convention. If this is not present, you will not be permitted to sell.
Dealers may share their tables with another dealer. Each dealer that is making sales must have their own tax ID. Because of this, you must let the dealers lead know if someone else is selling with you. Assistants are not required to provide a tax ID.
Dealer Assistants
Dealers may have assistants to help set up, tear down, or facilitate transactions in the Dealers Den, but keep in mind there are only 2 chairs behind each table.
We do request that you notify us of any assistants you have so we can provide them with a dealers ribbon. We do this to make sure there is no one in restricted spaces that shouldn’t be. Dealers must check in their assistants with Dealers Den staff for them to be allowed access during setup and teardown times.
Dealer Assistants are not permitted to sell their own artwork or merchandise. Only artwork or merchandise under the primary dealer may be sold.
Conbook Advertisements
All accepted dealers are eligible for 75% off ad space in the con book. Con book submission deadline is July 31st.
